Since 2010, Mohair Pear in Cedar Falls has been hosting The Pear Fair. This outdoor, indie artisan fair reflects the unique style of their shop and will feature local and regional artists.
This year, the fair will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm in the parking lot at 22nd and College Streets (next door to The Octopus).
More than 25 artists will be under the tent selling a variety of gifts. They’ll have upcycled and crystal jewelry, bags and wallets, handwoven décor, sterling silver and electroformed copper jewelry, illustrations and notecards, greeting cards, homemade cleaning and beauty products, letterpress paper products, mixed media art, hand-crafted skateboards and merchandise from reclaimed wood, pottery, yarn creatures, and so much more! You’re sure to find a special and unique gift at this year’s fair.
Visit their Facebook page to catch more information about the artists present at this year’s event.
#HeadToTheHill September 15 and enjoy shopping, dining or taking a break at Sidecar Coffee for a fine cup of java. Then, stick around for Oktoberfest on the Hill taking place in the same location from 6:30 – 9:30 pm.
