Cedar Falls Raceway was constructed in the 1960's and originally known as Neita Raceway (North East Iowa Timing Association). Originally sanctioned with the AHRA (now defunct), Neita's name was changed to the Cedar Falls Raceway in the 1980's. Since then, Cedar Falls Raceway has been under IHRA and NHRA sanctions and is currently a NHRA member track. The track is 60' wide x 4000' long, as it is a 1/4 mile drage strip with 350' concrete launch pads.

Visit the 287-acre natural area in the heart of metropolitan Black Hawk County and you will find yourself in a woodland oasis. Within the forest are lakes, valleys, prairie, and open meadow all teaming with wildlife. Watch for river otters and osprey introduced in 1998. The Hartman Interpretive Center is perched on a bluff above the Cedar River and linked to the forest by a 6-mile web of trails. The Trail Tram, an open-air trailer pulled by a tractor, makes some of the trails handicapped accessible and can be reserved by your group. All ages and abilities will enjoy Hartman Reserve Nature Center. Interpretive Center open year round Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Sundays (Labor Day to Memorial Day), 1 - 5 p.m. The trail system is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

This facility completes the UNI Sports and Event Complex by connecting the UNI-Dome's south side. The connection between the buildings is made not only above ground, but also underground. The McLeod Center opened on November 18, 2006 and seats up to 7,000 people. This new facility is home to UNI Panther Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Wrestling, and Volleyball competitions. The McLeod Center will also host family shows, trade shows, concerts, comedians, a variety of athletic events and more.

Three distinct pool areas, handicapped accessible, concessions, shade structures, lounge chairs, and more! The Adventure Falls offers a 196 foot long enclosed tube slide and a 176 foot long raft slide that come off a 21 foot tall tower. You can ride both slides with or without a tube. Patrons can exit the splash down area or stay on the tube and float into the 450 foot long lazy river, complete with fountains, sprays, rapids, and falling water. The Safari Falls features a beach style entry, home to an elephant and other floating creatures at play among the fountains, slides, sprays and a large dump bucket. With a maximum depth of 26 inches and abundant shade, this area is sure to be a family favorite. Last but not least, the Rock Falls is a traditional pool with a twist! The area has an 8 lane, 25 meter pool with a lap line available throughout the day, floatable objects to climb on, a water basketball area, and water volleyball may be set up during evening times. There is an attached diving well which requires users to have a certain level of swimming skills. Patrons must be 46 inches tall to use the waterslides and 44 inches tall ot use the lazy river.
