University of Northern Iowa student-athletes shine throughout the year in football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, golf, track and field, wrestling, soccer, softball, swimming and diving and tennis.
Instantly recognized on campus are athletic venues of the UNI-Dome, McLeod Center and the UNI Wellness Center.
- The UNI-Dome capacity is 16,324 and it is home to many football and other athletic events, but also serves as a venue for community events, such as outdoor recreation shows, concerts and expos. After serving the university for nearly 50 years, view the future plans for this facility.
- In 2006, the McLeod Center opened its doors and is home to basketball, volleyball and special events with a seating capacity of 6,500.
- Foremost, the Wellness Center is home to fitness and leisure classes and a recreational facility for students, including a climbing wall, weight room, racquetball courts, competitive and leisure pools and aerobics/dance studios. Some programs are available to the public.
