Enjoy Our TrailsWelcome to Cedar Falls! Discover our trails
an historic journey, an outdoor wonder, an Iowa treasure. The Cedar Falls area offers over 80 miles of recreational trails that intertwine throughout our community. You will truly be amazed by the trails and the surrounding environment!
Come and enjoy our trails which are free and open year-round for non-motorized and non-equestrian activities, such as biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and skating. In addition, you can explore over 65 miles of trails within our metro trail system. While you are on the trails, you will see why so many people call Cedar Falls the "Gateway to the Trails." Cedar Trails Partnership The Cedar Trails Partnership (CTP) is a non-profit, volunteer organization devoted to promoting the continued expansion and safe enjoyment of the Recreational Trails in the Cedar Valley. There are currently over 80 miles of hard-surfaced trails in the cities of Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Evansdale and Hudson. Bike riders are now able to ride from Black Hawk Park northwest of Cedar Falls to Cedar Rapids entirely on trails. Future trail extensions to the north will connect our trail system to Waverly and points beyond. Our metropolitan area has arguably the best trail system/network in the country. It is truly a world-class facility, of which we are very proud. Call 800-845-1955 for more information!
