Cedar Valley Non-Profit Volunteers on Tap

CATEGORIES

Cedar Valley Non-Profit Volunteers on Tap is January 14, 2020

Be a leader in our community

Volunteers on Tap is an event designed to match young Cedar Valley professionals with hospitality-related non-profits such as festivals, events, attractions and organizations and serve in long-term leadership roles.

These community organizations and events are looking for new talent to support their projects. Volunteers could serve on board of directors and committees to help facilitate organizational mission, plan and execute events, and assist with management of the organization's events!

The event is from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at SingleSpeed Waterloo. Last year’s event drew 26 organizations and over 80 volunteers. 207 referrals were made and many of these volunteers continue to serve the organizations they were matched with.

Registration for this event is not required; however, all who pre-register for this event will receive one (1) beer ticket courtesy of SingleSpeed Brewing. The ticket can be substituted for a soda or nonalcoholic drink. Visit the Volunteer Center of the Cedar Valley's website to find out what to expect. Or, simply click HERE to register.

In the fall of 2019, we recruited organizations to participate. Pre-registration was required by December 13 and all spaces filled quickly. If your organization is a tourism-related event, please check back next fall for information about our 2021 recruitment event.

If you have additional questions, please contact Lauren at the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley by email or (319) 272-2087.
