2018 Festival of Trees
A special, holiday tradition continues in 2020. Friends of MercyOne Cedar Falls will present “Merry & Bright” as their theme for this year’s VIRTUAL Festival of Trees, December 18-22, 2020.
“Merry & Bright” promises something for everyone, albeit slightly different from years past due to the pandemic. Although the Gallery of Trees will be CLOSED to the public this year, you will still get to enjoy the lovely trees, wreaths and lanterns as a virtual tour on the MercyOne Cedar Falls' website. And, in lieu of the larger events, the festival will host live, virtual HoliDIY workshops. The kids can still drop off their letters for Santa at his mailbox in the Gallery of Trees and the silent auction will take place online instead of in the lobby of the Gallagher Bluedorn. Bidding has already started!
MercyOne’s Festival of Trees is an annual fundraiser for vital projects such as renovations and medical equipment at MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center. In 2020, their 32nd festival, funds will be used for COVID-19 relief efforts.
