Festivals in June, 2019 | Cedar Falls, Iowa

Marine Band, Sturgis Falls Celebration

Summer kicks off in June with lots of festivals to enjoy. Live music, parades, fun for the kids and more await your visit!

My Waterloo Days
June 3-9, 2019

This year, Waterloo will host a week-long celebration. Attend a beach party, participate in a miniature golf tournament, enjoy Movies on the Cedar, watch the parade, enjoy live music and more. Be sure to check their website HERE for ticket information and to see their full schedule of events.

College Hill Arts Festival
June 21-22, 2019

Located in the shady corner of 23rd and College Streets in Cedar Falls, plan to spend the day strolling the “streets” of the festival and listening to live music. You’ll find original works of art in pottery, ceramics, wood, metal or glass from more than 70 artists. You’ll also find photography, sculptures and jewelry. Grown-ups aren’t the only ones who will have fun. There will be activities for the little ones!
The College Hill Arts Festival is free and open to the public.

Sturgis Falls Celebration
June 28-30, 2019

The annual Sturgis Falls Celebration in Cedar Falls can’t be missed! You’ll find multiple stages of live music, a parade, Gateway Market, an Arts & Crafts Fair and carnival at this three-day festival.  The family will also love the Kidsway Tent with entertainment and activities for the kids.
The Sturgis Falls Celebration is free and the events are all within walking distance of each other.

Cedar Basin Music Festival
June 28-30, 2019

Every year in June, the Cedar Basin Music Festival delivers a plethora of live music at two venues, the Heritage Stage in Sturgis Park and the jazz stage at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. Dixieland Jazz continues to be the foundation of their daytime schedule. In the evening, more outstanding bands take the stage, performing a wider range of music from bands like The Snozzberries, The Rolling Stoners and Dash Rip Rock.
The Cedar Basin Music Festival is free and open to the public. The Sturgis Park venue is also next to the Ice House Museum and across the street from Overman Park, the Hub of the Sturgis Falls Celebration which takes place on the same dates.

In addition to the live music you’ll find at our local festivals, you’ll also find live music at a variety of local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Find a list HERE or visit our online calendar of events at www.CedarValley365.com and find all the events taking place this summer.
