Our recent snowfall is gone and we’re thinking spring, sweet treats and brunch!

Sweet Treats

If you’re looking to help out the Easter Bunny, have you thought about a non-traditional Easter treat of popcorn or cupcakes? Here’s What’s Poppin’ has candied nuts, sweet popped corn and even caramel puff corn for your Easter baskets. It melts in your mouth! And, when we talk about cupcakes, Scratch Cupcakery must come to mind. They have Easter and spring decorated cupcakes. Now, if you’re looking for more traditional candy, make sure your baskets include decadent chocolates from Chocolaterie Stam or candy from Main Street Sweets

If you’d like to celebrate Easter a little early, join Scheels for their free, Easter “Eggtivities” on Saturday, March 26, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at their store on 402 Viking Plaza Drive in Cedar Falls. They’ll have activities throughout their store and candy-filled eggs. If you’re in Waterloo, bring the kids to Crossroads Mall before 10:00 am Saturday, March 26, and join their Easter egg hunt taking place on the lower level! Stay and enjoy a magic show at 11:00 am and caricature drawings and crafts in center court.
