Join us to celebrate the good news!
Cedar Falls has earned the greatest well-being title across the globe as one of the first certified Blue Zones Communities®!
We couldn't be more proud and we want to invite YOU to celebrate with us. Join us to celebrate our success, hear from leaders in the community, and recognize the hard work completed toward improved well-being Thursday, January 30 from 4:30 pm until 6 pm at the Cedar Falls Community Center, 528 Main St. in Cedar Falls.
Congrats for making Cedar Falls one of the first Blue Zones Communities in the country! All day Thursday let's paint the town blue – wear your Blue Zones Project t-shirt or anything blue to celebrate.
Cedar Falls was selected as a Blue Zones Project® demonstration site in May of 2012 and began a well-being transformation. After a lot of hard work from so many community members, we've achieved all of the critical milestones associated with the worksite, school, grocery store, restaurant, community policy, and citizen sectors required to receive this honor. This certification is all thanks to your ongoing support for the Blue Zones Project and our community.
