Fun, Fun, Fun! April 3, 2019, shop and dine in our historic downtown district, enjoy an afternoon matinee of Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute at Hawkeye Community College and tour the historic Wonder Bread building in Waterloo that SingleSpeed Brewing Co. has transformed into their brewery. Sidecar Roasters is alos in the location and your day will be capped off with dinner at the brewery. |
Native Iowa Enjoy native Iowa with a trip to the newly renovated Hartman Reserve Nature Center and lunch in the community room. You'll love the spectacular view! Your nature adventure will continue at University of Northern Iowa's Tallgrass Prairie Center and a visit to Barn Happy. Barn Happy is a 1925 renovated barn with a marvelous gift shop that specializes in Iowa made products. Savor a slice of pie and a cup of coffee before you head home! |
