Iowa Irish Fest, August 3-5, 2018

With events like the Iowa Irish Fest 5k, motorcycle ride, rugby tournament, whiskey tasting, contests, and more, Iowa Irish Fest is the place to be at the beginning of August!
 

Taking place August 3rd through August 5th, 2018, the Lincoln Park area in Waterloo that will be filled with festivities that appeal to all ages, and reflecting the festival’s mission “to foster and develop Irish fellowship and outreach into the community with Irish cultural events and programs.”
 

Some of the highly anticipated performers making an appearance this year are Gaelic Storm, The Elders, The High Kings, The Screaming Orphans, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, and The Dublin City Ramblers. Also, Socks in the Frying Pan, JigJam, The Gothard Sisters, Seo Linn, The Fitzgeralds, Seven Nations, and many more.
 

Check out more of the Irish fest schedule online HERE or on their Facebook page. The festival takes place in the Lincoln Park area of Waterloo and admission for the three-day festival is free for children 12 and under and $20 for everyone else (three-day wristband), whether they’re Irish or not. And, Irish Fest is always accepting volunteers to help out with this fantastic and fun festival!
