Grab your gear, rally your crew, and get set to be among the first to explore the new river recreation area in Cedar Falls, which will open in the fall of 2024.

Known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities, Cedar Falls has always been a favorite destination for nature enthusiasts. An exciting new water adventure is nestled amidst 130 miles of trails, a vibrant downtown, and rejuvenated riverbanks.

The multi-million dollar enhancement of the river area provides new opportunities for fishing, tubing, paddling, and more.

There are multiple water access points for kayaking and tubing, fishing jetties, and aquatic life pools. The area provides safe and easy access to the river for visitors to play, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.
