One of Iowa's newest center for the arts offers over 200 performances a year ranging from Broadway to Bolshoi. One of Northeast Iowa's strongest cultural assets, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony has presented outstanding musical performances since 1929. Each season, the orchestra presents five classical concerts, a Holiday and Spring Pops Concert, a family concert; and a Chamber music event. In addition, the WCFSO offers a variety of educational programs for area school children. Most symphony concerts are held in the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, where their offices are located.

Rotating exhibitions provide visitors with an opportunity to view a wide range of artwork by contemporary artists as well as selections from the UNI Permanent Art Collection.  Gallery hours during the academic year: 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; Noon to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and by appointment.

Featuring local and regional artists in traveling and special focus exhibitions, this multi-purpose art center houses two galleries, a recital hall, and a small library. For nearly 30 years, Lampost Theatre had been writing, producing, and performing original theatre with an eclectic style. Specializing in musical theatre and physical comedy, their performances have delighted audiences across the country.
