The City of Cedar Falls Presents: Fireworks Over the Dome @ The University of Northern Iowa

Get Ready to Salute The Red White and Blue at the biggest and boldest Fireworks Over The Dome yet as we celebrate America 250 on July 2nd, 2026 at the UNI-Dome! Bring your lawn chairs and your patriotic spirit-parking lots and green spaces open at 7:00 PM, with the National Guard showcasing equipment on site from 7:00–9:00 PM. Enjoy a live performance by the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony from 8:00–9:00 PM, grab concessions from UNI Athletics, and at 9:00 PM, all eyes will turn skyward for a thrilling National Guard flyover before the night explodes into the region’s most spectacular fireworks display at 9:40 PM, synchronized to a live broadcast from K92.3. It’s an unforgettable night of entertainment, community, and celebration you won’t want to miss!
