     A modern 70-site campground. Antique Acres is a private organization whose members own, preserve and display working examples of antique threshing, steam, plowing and saw milling machinery. Antique Acres was incorporated in 1964 to purchase 80 acres of land and to organize what has become an annual "Old Time Power Show", held each August on this site. A museum on the grounds features a large collection of old farm machinery, including items more than 100 years old.

    Big Woods Lake Campground and Recreation Area hours are 6:00 am – 10:30 pm seasonally. Visitors of registered campers and cabin renters must leave the area by 10:30 pm. 

    The City of Cedar Falls and Black Hawk Conservation Board offer a RV campground. There is a modern cabin and two rustic cabins, 55 full hookup campsites, as well as, a non-modern camping area on a 12 acre site.  Each full hookup site includes a level regrind camp pad, electricity (30 and 50 amp), water (seasonal) and sewer. Our non-modern camp area offers campers the option of camping with or without electricity. All campsites include the use of a fire ring and picnic table as well as wireless internet.

    The campground overlooks Big Woods Lake and is bordered on the south side by the Cedar Valley Trail System.  The lake itself is 86 acres and 32 feet deep at its deepest point. The lake offers no wake boating and excellent fishing. The Big Woods Lake area provides access to the metro trail system, boating, fishing, hiking and picnicking, and a 10-acre prairie.

    This county park offers modern campsites, picnic areas, hiking, biking and bridle trails, fishing stream and lake, boat ramp, hunting, playground, ball diamond, cross-country skiing, hockey/ice skating, archery-gun-sporting, clay ranges, and lodge.  Park facilities are handicap accessible.  Black Hawk Park features two campground areas.  Cedar Campground features an open layout, while Fogdall campground has individual sites.

    Siggelkow Park is a campground area located on the Wapsipinicon River.  Since this is a campground, there is no public hunting allowed.  The campground does provide access to the river and from the campground canoes/kayaks can easily be launched.
