Magical Holiday Light Displays 2020

Bundle up the kids, pack takeout from your favorite restaurant, turn on your favorite holiday music and make family memories with magical winter nights spent enjoying the sites of holiday light displays in 2020!
Many of the larger displays are synchronized to music. If you park your car to watch, please be courteous of others and don't block driveways and please dim headlights while parked.
November 28 - December 31
4th and Main Streets, Cedar Falls
Enjoy the exciting light display at Santa's Workshop in the Cedar Falls Downtown District. It's the perfect backdrop to your holiday photos. Kids, don't forget to drop off your letter to Santa in his mailbox by his workshop before December 21!
Festival of Lights
Riverview Conference Center at 439 N. Division Street, Cedar Falls
This will be a festive drive-through event with displays built by churches, businesses and organizations. Displays will be lit 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Tickets are $20/vehicle and can be purchased at the event or in advance HERE.
Prospect Light Show
November 27 – December 31
1056 Prospect Boulevard, Waterloo (just south of Ridgeway Avenue)
Tucked into this popular Waterloo neighborhood, you’ll find a sea of lights dancing to Christmas Vacation, Silent Night, Wizards in Winter, Carol of the Bells, Jingle Bell Rock and more. Tune your radio to 103.9 FM and visit the light show Monday - Sunday, 5:00 - 10:00 pm. Visit their Facebook page for a list of songs and a list of other displays in the Cedar Valley!
Little Family Christmas Light Show
November 27 - December 25
617 2nd Street, Evansdale (20 minute drive)
Tune your radio dial to 103.9 and watch the lights "sing" to the music! Please be courteous as this is a family home in a residential neighborhood. The animation loop is about 15 minutes. Display is lit Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm.
November 26 – January 1
103 Elaisen Avenue, Waverly (20 minute drive)
With more than two decades of experience, the Wiechmann family’s display has gained attention and has won several light display competitions. Waverly Lights is a 20 minute light show with twinkling lights dancing to holiday music...just tune to 107.1 on your radio dial when you visit! The show starts at 5:00 pm and runs until 10:00 pm Sunday-Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday.
Krumwiede Light Display
November 27 - December 27
3708 5th Ave NW, Waverly (25 minute drive)
View thousands of lights, character figurines at this drive-through display. Display will be lit Sunday - Thursday, 5:00 - 9:00 pm and Friday and Saturday, 5:00 - 10:00 pm. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it will be lit until 11:00 pm.
Hickory Hills Holiday Light Show
November 28 and December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 and 24
3338 Hickory Hills Road, La Porte City (30 minute drive)
Businesses and organizations have decorated Hickory Hills Park with thousands of lights for you to enjoy as you drive through the park's campground! $10/vehicle (cash or check only), 5:00 - 9:00 pm.

Kersten Holiday Light Display
November 26 – December 27
5598 22nd Avenue Trail, Vinton (45 minute drive)
(located about three miles northwest of Vinton on the blacktop that connects Vinton and Mount Auburn)
55 years and counting, a visit to the Kersten Holiday Light Display is an annual tradition for hundreds of families. The lights shine 5:00 pm until 9:30 pm weekdays and until 10:00 pm on weekends.
Lights in the Park
November 21 – December 31
Sumner City Park at 547 Columbia Avenue, Sumner (45 minute drive)
Lights in the Park features inflatables, animation, a lighted 30-foot tree plus Santa will visit every Friday and Sunday and on December 23. Lit nightly, 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Free will donation.
Little Light of Mine
November 28 – December 31
Mikkelson Park at 1013 E. Spring St, New Hampton (45 minute drive)
Drive through the park with your radio dial tuned to 99.5 FM to hear music synchronized to their light display. Once a memorial light display, and now in its third year, the community’s display offers visitors the message, “If one person lets their light shine, it will inspire others to gather and do the same.” The park is illuminated nightly, 5:00 – 10:00 pm. Festival of Lights

806 North Pine Street, West Union (1 hour drive)
The West Union Recreation Complex is decked out for the holidays! Throughout December, be sure to tune your radio to 99.5 FM to hear the sounds of Christmas as you drive through the park. They've added more than 40,000 lights and they'll be on 5:00 – 10:00 pm nightly.
