Fun with the kids, dinner out and a little nightlife are all on the calendar for New Year's weekend!
On December 30, the New Year's fun starts early at the New Year’s Eve Eve Party held at the Cedar Falls Public Library. On December 31st, spend family time on the Cedar Valley Trails, do a little shopping and then plan some quiet time dining out with your special someone. Then, let the New Year’s Eve festivities begin! On January 1, start the New Year off with Iowa's First Day Hikes!
New Year's Eve Eve Party (Please NOTE that this event is Friday, December 30)

Join the fun at the Cedar Falls Library for a dance party and countdown until noon. Ages 0-8.
NYE Boot Scootin' Bash with THROWBACK JACK!

FIRST DAY HIKES
Start the new year outdoors with Iowa's First Day Hikes on January 1, 2023. Hike locally at George Wyth State Park or check out one of the many guided First Day Hikes at several state parks and forests with park staff here.
