What's for Breakfast?

Is breakfast your favorite meal of the day? Brunch can be a leisurely yet decadent way of weekending and we’d like to introduce you to five restaurants that will elevate breakfast to an entirely new level. In addition, we’d like to remind you of additional breakfast hot spots, donut shops and coffee/tea shops.  

Delicious and a good reason to head out or grab takeout....

Lark Brewing
6301 University Avenue, Cedar Falls
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Choose from their updated menu which includes a selection of breakfast burritos. Pair your choice with one of their brews or a Bloody Mary. 
 

Whiskey Road
402 Main Street, Cedar Falls
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Does cherry wood smoked pork belly, creme brulee French toast, or chicken and waffles sound good? These are a few choices from their brunch menu. 
 

SingleSpeed Brewing
325 Commercial Street, Waterloo
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Choose from a variety of items off their brunch menu like the buffalo mac and cheese, breakfast burrito, fried chicken and biscuit sandwich or waffle combo along with one of their brews (or maybe a bottomless beer-mosa). 
 

George's Local
108 E. 4rd Street, Cedar Falls
Sunday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Their brunch menu includes all of your breakfast favorites such as biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, French toast, and steak and eggs. If you're in mood for lunch, you can't miss with George's burger, house pizza, and some of the city's best cheese curds.

Rockets Bakery

Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
Serving classic donuts and specialty donuts such as cinnamon rolls, fritters and caramel pecan rolls.

Village Inn

Family-friendly chain restaurant with breakfast items available the entire day. Waterloo also has a Village Inn at 212 W Ridgeway Avenue.
