What's New - new shops in 2020


Cedar Falls is growing and evolving and we’d like to share just a few of the 2020 relocations and shop openings that took place in the Cedar Falls Downtown District, near College Square Mall, on College Hill and in Industrial Park.

Relocations

Lark Brewing
6301 University Avenue, Cedar Falls
Locally-brewed craft beer with a tasty menu of entrees and sides. They’re now located at College Square Mall right next to the main entrance. 
 

Lotus & Lou Interiors
317 Main Street, Cedar Falls
Home decor with an eclectic vibe of vintage, handmade and hand-picked decor and more. They’re now located on Main Street in the heart of the Cedar Falls Downtown District. 
 

Mack + Mav Boutique
100 E. 2nd Street, Cedar Falls
Trendy boutique of clothing, jewelry, hand bags and other accessories and necessities. They’re now located on 2nd Street in one of the newest developments in the Downtown District. 
 

Scratch Cupcakery
6607 University Avenue, Cedar Falls
Always a popular stop to find cupcakes and other sweets for an afternoon pick-me-up, office meeting or just to make the family happy. They’re now located in a larger location next to Slumberland Furniture.

Hall Bicycle

Offering a variety of bikes, equipment, accessories, expertise and more...as well as technicians on site to service your bikes. 
 

Pepper Boutique
213 Main Street, Cedar Falls
Unique, trendy and affordable clothing for any occasion. 
 

Ragged Edge Art Bar & Gallery
504 Bluff Street, Cedar Falls
Located on the edge of the Downtown District, the Ragged Edge has created a unique experience of combining a shop filled with local artwork with finely-crafted cocktails. Reservations are required during the pandemic. 
 

The Speckled Owl
319 Main Street, Cedar Falls
Here to inspire, The Speckled Owl offers a gift shop filled with craft supplies (such as beads, paper and stickers), home decor and non-perishable food items for your kitchen. 
 

U and I Consign
2002 College Street, Cedar Falls
U and I Consign is the newest shop to open on College Street. Located next to The Hydrant restaurant, their consignment shop sells gently-used clothing and accessories. 
 

Eats

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill
1625 W. Ridgeway Avenue, Cedar Falls
The soft-serve creations you love plus good eats of classic sandwiches, fries and more. 
 

Chilitos Mexican Bar & Grill
1704 W. 1st Street, Cedar Falls
Mexican comfort food that includes fajitas, chimichangas, enchiladas, burritos, salads, soups, and combinations. 
 

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza
1525 W. Ridgeway Avenue, Cedar Falls
