Marine Band, Sturgis Falls Celebration


Summer kicks off in June with lots of festivals to enjoy. Live music, parades, fun for the kids and more await your visit!
 

My Waterloo Days
June 6-12, 2022

This year, Waterloo will host a week-long celebration. Attend a beach party, participate in a bags, softball or pool tournament, enjoy Movies on the Cedar, watch the parade, enjoy live music and more. Be sure to check their website HERE for ticket information and to see their full schedule of events.
 

College Hill Arts Festival
June 17-18, 2022

Located in the shady corner of 23rd and College Streets in Cedar Falls, plan to spend the day strolling the “streets” of the festival. You’ll find original works of art in pottery, ceramics, wood, metal or glass from more than 70 artists. You’ll also find photography, sculptures and jewelry. Grown-ups aren’t the only ones who will have fun. There will be activities for the little ones!
The College Hill Arts Festival is free and open to the public.
 

Sturgis Falls Celebration
June 24-26, 2022

The annual Sturgis Falls Celebration in Cedar Falls can’t be missed! You’ll find multiple stages of live music, a parade, Gateway Market, an Arts & Crafts Fair and carnival at this three-day festival.  The family will also love the Kidsway Tent with entertainment and activities for the kids.
The Sturgis Falls Celebration is free and the events are all within walking distance of each other.   
 

Cedar Basin Music Festival
June 24-26, 2022

Every year in June, the Cedar Basin Music Festival delivers a plethora of live music at on three stages at two venues, the Heritage Stage and Main Stage in Sturgis Park and the jazz stage at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. Jazz continues to be the foundation of their schedule at NewAldaya. The stages in Sturgis Park offer a wider range of music from bands including Maddie Poppe, Heartache Tonight, Stains All-Star Dixieland Band, Petra Van Nuis and the Pork Tornadoes.
The Cedar Basin Music Festival is free and open to the public. The Sturgis Park venue is also next to the Ice House Museum and across the street from Overman Park, the Hub of the Sturgis Falls Celebration which takes place on the same dates.
