Iowa Irish Fest

The Cedar Valley Irish Cultural Association is holding the 8th Annual Iowa Irish Fest in an around the Lincoln Park area and East 4th and Mulberry Streets in downtown Waterloo. Iowa’s only large-scale Celtic festival boasts three stages of music and entertainment, Celtic gifts, food and highland games. Stem & Stein

Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show

Annual Show showcases the steel guitar in several musical genres including country, swing, blues, jazz, gospel and pop. 30 artists from more than six Midwestern states will perform and many more will be making grooves on the dance floor!  Bien VenU Event Center, Cedar Falls.

Annual National Cattle Congress

 This historic Waterloo fair has a deep tradition of bringing entertainment and agriculture together! Fall Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Contest

Funky Junk-a-Loo

Cemetery Walk

Bands of America Iowa Regional

Pink Ribbon Run
THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL EVENT

Halloween Hikes
THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL EVENT ONLY-WATCH FOR UPDATES
Guests enjoy a Halloween hike through the woods with non-scary characters in a fun performance. Hikes begin at 6 pm and leave every 15 minutes. Designed for the whole family, Halloween Hikes are complete with lighted trails and nature-related stories. Holiday Arts Festival
Find the perfect, one-of-a-kind holiday gift or feature for your home at this juried fine arts and crafts sale featuring works from over 60 Midwestern artists. Festival of Trees
Since 1989, MercyOne Festival of Trees has grown and evolved into one of the Cedar Valley’s most cherished annual events. The week long event not only showcases the great trees, wreaths, table settings and other exhibits, but a number of special events take place throughout the week in the Festival Gallery and at other locations in Cedar Falls. The purpose of the festival is to first serve as a fundraiser to support the hospital through the hospitals Auxiliary membership, and secondly to offer the community a beautiful holiday exhibit. Thanksgiving Weekend Bluegrass Festival

Holiday Hoopla
Join the merchants in downtown Cedar Falls as the Grand Holiday Hoopla gets underway, kicking off a month of hoopla downtown! Santa’s Workshop on the corner of 4th and Main officially opens. Battle of Waterloo Wrestling Tournament

January 2021

Cedar Valley Wedding Extravaganza
Wedding Extravaganza is a merchant sponsored show and is known as "Iowa's Ultimate Bridal Show". Doors open as noon, style show is at 2:00 pm. January 10, 2021. Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, Waterloo.

Iowa Snowshoe Race
A 5k and 10k events will be offered and run on a variety of snow surfaces including: packed, powder, and single track. Snowshoes are available if needed. January TBD, 2021. Hartman Reserve Nature Center.

Iowa Boat, RV and Vacation Show
Iowa's largest boat show, featuring cabin cruisers to fishing boats from over 25 Iowa dealers, plus motor homes, resorts and fishing tackle. January 22-24, 2021. UNI-Dome, Cedar Falls. 319-232-0218.

February 2021
 

Iowa Fat Bike Race
Participants will ride their bikes around a snow-trampled course in this unique and challenging race.  Route will be similar to cyclocross races, laps will be short 5-10 minutes each with a citizen (beginner) and open (experienced) divisions offered. Eastern Iowa Home & Landscaping Show

Winter Warrior Duathlon

March 2021

Hawkeye Farm Show 
More than 250 companies display over 800 lines of products and services at the UNI-Dome. Join over 18,000 agricultural producers from Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin to review the latest technologies in agriculture. Attend daily seminars by leading experts. Sticky Stride

Maple Syrup Festival

Eastern Iowa Sports Show

The World's Greatest Spring Break for Kids

College Hill Arts Festival

Mayor's Downtown Fireworks Festival

Cedar Valley Jaycees Greater Waterloo Open

ACCEL Triathlon

The Cedar Valley Chamber Music Festival

Iowa Shrine Bowl Football Game
